Portland Track Festival sponsoring “We Grew Wings” screening & panel discussion April 19th

The Portland Track Festival is hosting a screening of excerpts from the upcoming film and panel discussion of the documentary “We Grew Wings”. This film is a history of the University of Oregon Women’s T+F team that is told through the viewpoint of the 1985 and 2011 teams.
Following the 20 minute, extended-preview of this film we’ll meet the film maker and two of the athletes from the 1985 team – Eryn Forbes and Leann Warren. The film is in the final editing phase and will be screened in its entirety during the 2012 Olympic Trials.
