Women’s Athletic Celebration- May 7, 2011
The University of Oregon honored all women athletes who competed for the university before 1981. Each former athlete received an official Letter ‘O’ and membership in the Order of the O.
It was an emotional night for over 300 former athletes, some who had competed for Oregon as early as 1940′s. More than 600 athletes, friends and families celebrated at the first-ever banquet hosted at the Matthew Knight Arena.
